This rehearsal is performed before every duetting piece involving the piano.

Tea is prepared prior to the rehearsal.

Birdy and Mantis retrieve sponges from the piano bench and sit. Mantis and Birdy take turns pouring tea for eachother onto the sponges used to wipe down the piano keys.

Tea is prepared prior to the duet.

Mantis and Birdy retrieve five tea offering cups from the piano bench and sit. Mantis places the cups on the fallboard. Birdy pours tea into each cup and both pray.

Birdy and Mantis retrieve incense and a lighter from the piano bench and sit. Mantis lights two incense, and gives one to Birdy. Both pray with the incense in hand and insert them between the piano keys.

Birdy and Mantis bring two cut white lilies and two cut white tulips, and retrieve gardening shears and two kenzans from the piano bench and sit.

Kenzans are placed onto the piano keys.

Birdy trims a tulip and a lily stem for Mantis

Mantis trims a lily and a tulip stem for Birdy and both pray.

Flowers are placedinto the kenzans after praying.

Mantis and Birdy retrieve folliage, stems, berries, flowers from the surrounding area, and sit on the Hill.

Both work together to create two arrangements.
